12/21/20 - Sister Barlow Letter to Family

Mari! Im so glad to hear you had a great week! I bet that because it was so busy its now nice to have a break! I want to se pucs when you get your newsies costume! Love you so much!

Daddy! That sounds like an incredible sacrament meeting! That gift box sounds so cool! I bet they just loved it! Ill be praying for you with your job. Starting something new is always kind of funky at first. Ill keep the prayers coming. Every fsmily we meet prays for our fsmilies as well! Every sunday too in sacrament! Im glad you are doing a zoom christmas me on thursday. I think that will be good. At least as good as it can be. Send my love! I actually am collecting quite the wall of christmas cards! I think from barlow fam ive gotton them from john and kim. All super sweet! Its so fun to get letters! Thanks for the hype! We say "i give my __ for the lord" everytime we post because its verymuch out of our comfort zone and the social media culture we are use to. All is well here! Love you! 


Mama! How cool! I bet you all sounded amazing!!! What a cool sacrament! Im glad they spoiled you! Did you by chance get my package? It shoukdve arrived on thursday. Anyway- here is an idea to make it feel more like christmas, ask heavenly father for one gift that you know you can get. Ex:// NOT:brand new car, corona go away IT IS: charity, forgiveness, patience... itll start feeling a bit more festive ;) i love you all! 


Soooo it was my turn to learn how to use the sim card in our area and i took out my little side thing and i realises that the tray for the sim card was broken and stuck inside. Im not sure what to do. We are taking it to a shop today to see if the can order me another tray. Its an a20 and i have no idea how to take it out. 


Also, if you find Jesus the Christ cheap somewhere id love a copy.

Hey Hey Hey! We had a fun week! *Happy Birthday Sister Matthews!* Along with cowboys, Aberdeen is flooded with Karen people! It's close to Korean but it is pronounced "Ka-Riin" but they are the nicest people! We got a referral for a lady named June and was told she worked at one of the Karen Asian Markets in town so each day we hit another one to see if we can find her. No luck this week but with each store we go to I try a new food. I found that I love Aloe Water- so gooood and that Durian flavored anything is of the devil. AH IT'S SO BAD! I like most food but that is #1 in the worst foods ever created .  We lost a member of the ward to Covid-19 this last week. We had a funeral at the church and us missionaries helped out. What a crazy time to be alive. It was a tender service but as we were sitting I was just thinking about the second coming. I really think it's a lot closer than we think. 3/22/21 - TANG

The best feeling in the world is feeling the Spirit testify through you.    We met with Jana this week and we talked about a future date for baptism! It'll be a few years but she told us "Even if it takes a few years it will be worth the wait". I need more faith in people. I meet a lot of people everyday and they want nothing to do with our message. Then we find people like Jana or Nicole and I just sit in amazement in how the Spirit has been preparing this and it is not a temporary want. I most likely won't be a missionary when Jana is baptized but I will come back to witness it. We moved onto the topic of Temples and the importance of it and she shared how she was reading about the three kingdoms and how she only wanted to be in the top (Celestial). We talked about what we have to do to live there and she said "I can do that if that means I can live with Heavenly Father again". Isn't she precious?!
