Bonjour Mademoiselle  French is hard. Life is good, but not much is happening. I did the UTA (Utah Theater Association) thing. It was virtual this year, but it was still super cool. Singles awareness day approaches, so that's cool, I guess. I'm really tired while I'm writing this, so I'm probably missing something.  Love you! Hyrum Heyyy  2nd quarter started this last week. I love B days but A days a re a drag.  On A days I have Utah studies, Ta, then lunch, Roberts CCA, then science. B days I have THEATER, Math , LA, then …. Dance !!! Hey Hey Hey! We had a fun week! *Happy Birthday Sister Matthews!* Along with cowboys, Aberdeen is flooded with Karen people! It's close to Korean but it is pronounced "Ka-Riin" but they are the nicest people! We got a referral for a lady named June and was told she worked at one of the Karen Asian Markets in town so each day we hit another one to see if we can find her. No luck this week but with each store we go to I try a new food. I found that I love Aloe Water- so gooood and that Durian flavored anything is of the devil. AH IT'S SO BAD! I like most food but that is #1 in the worst foods ever created .  We lost a member of the ward to Covid-19 this last week. We had a funeral at the church and us missionaries helped out. What a crazy time to be alive. It was a tender service but as we were sitting I was just thinking about the second coming. I really think it's a lot closer than we think. But I am so grateful to know that families are together forever.  After t...

HI This week has been pretty good! I've been exposed to Covid( again). I am the yw 1st counselor! I also got a skateboard from a friend this week. Joey had a playdate a couple days back with Elizabeth Fishers Dog Luna. JOEY GOT A HAIRCUT!!!! He is so small now ! I taught the lesson for home and family Church today. I think it went pretty well. It was very hodgepodge. I'm pretty sure that's all that really happened this week.  Love  You  Lots  MARI Yo Ho Matey! I made a 3 hour playlist of sea shanties, and I'm very proud of it. We were quarantined this week, so not much happened. I start semester 2 tomorrow, so wish me luck! Actually, the only class that changes is theatre 1 becomes theatre 2. But anyway, how are you doing? Have you been eaten by any buffalo yet? Love ya Hyrum Fantastic Eve! We LOVE the cute card you sent!  You are so cute!  It really did feel like a big hug from you.  A big hug right back at you!  Now that Hyrum can go back to sch...

Good morning! Another wonderful week in The Deen!  We had Zone Conference! On Wednesday we drove down to Pierre, SD. It's only about a three hour drive from us but when ZC starts at 9am you leave before you're supposed to be up. But we got there safely! I love how we are at the beginning of the transition into really focusing member work on the members! The members are full time finders and missionaries are the full time teachers! Embrace the Change!  We finished our conference and we were back on the road. 500ish miles later we make it back. I find it hilarious but in my training I am the designated driver lol. You're not supposed to drive until you're out of training. But Sister Fonotoe doesn't have a license and Sister White's expired this week. So it looks like it all me. I'LL DRIVE MY ROGUE FOR THE LORD! In the future when I come visit Aberdeen I won't be the same if I don't listen to polynesian music. I'm getting really good at singing in S...

Dear Eve I know: That Christ lives, and is the son of God That Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that the Book of Mormon is a true record That I can't think of anything I don't know about the church, but that when I do, I'll do my best to find the answer. If I can't, then so what? I know what I need to. Anything else is either unnecessary or unimportant. Do I know why women can't have the priesthood? No, but I know that God knows, and that's enough. Riverton got quarantined again, so that's not fun. I have some friends who have been asking about the church for years. I've answered their questions, and told them to talk to the missionaries. That might go somewhere. I get tested bi-weekly now, because of Matilda. So that's a blessing. This isn't flowing very well, so i'm going to bed. Love you! Hyrum hello!!!!!! I know that the church is true, I know that heavenly Father forgives,  I know that the book of Mormon is true, I know that heavenly ...

It's been a fun week in Aberdeen! It was transfers week and I am staying! I'm glad though, I love the people here. On Wednesday we drove up to Jamestown to pick up Sister Fonotoe, but once we arrived we got a call from the t-bus (transfer bus) that they were 3 hours behind. So Sister White and I got to explore Jamestown for a bit! In the prairie there's not much to look at, so the roadside attractions are giant statues of random things. In Jamestown they have a giant Bison so it was fun to go see. Who would have ever thought that the highlight of my week was looking at this giant bison. Living in a small town will do that to you.  Also- I hit my 2.500 mile since I've been here. It's ridiculous how big this mission is.  Sister Fonotoe is my Somoan princess! She was supposed to go home in November but right as she was about to fly home they closed the border to Samoa so she was sent back and she is currently serving her 20th month... But we love her! For the first few...
