Sister Barlow in Dakotas

Hi eve!  I got my covid shot and I'm really sore. I went to the temple for the first time sense covid. The youth in our word had a service project on the temple grounds. It was super fun! I had my newsies cast party IT WAS A PARTy! I got the " Miss Sunshine award" . I'm really proud of it. ALso me and the YW did night games. It was a ;arty and a fun way to connect with the girls. wish me luck with this last week of school. Ill need it. Also I danced in the rain today & braided all of my hair in tiny birads. Hey hey hey!    Alright so we will start at the beginning at the week! Our YSA did baptisms on Monday night and we offered to bring treats! I made just some normal chocolate chip cookies and we left them in the church kitchen.. not a big deal, right? Well Sister Barlow has a hard time realizing how many cookies are needed for a single event, so my recipe made about 4 1/2 dozen, they only took a single dozen, so now Sister Barlow and Sister Myers have 3 1/2 dozen cookies and a new realiziatoin that that was a dumb idea making so many cookies. But no fret! You're in Bismarck where there are a lot of missionaries! We brought them for District Council and since most of the missionaries leave in the next few transfers. They do this "6 months with no sugar" deal so we're like " RIP We have so many cookies!". But then our Elders on the reservation came in, and I kid you not. 3 Elders VS 38 cookies = no cookies. How can it be Monday already?!?!? This week flew!    We got to go to the Bismarck Temple this week! President Howell felt that before they close for cleaning that all the missionaries should go and do baptisms! I feel so lucky to be able to be here. This is a tiny temple, a little smaller than Provo City Center, but it is still a house of the Lord! The T-van would take zones at a time, so it was fun to see friends all throughout the mission! We were asked to bring family names and it was just a wonderful experience. I have missed that celestial feeling that we feel in the temple. When we were finished, one of the Matrons invited Sister Myers and I to walk around and look at all the art work. They have a few pieces of Christ that no matter where you are standing it looks like he is looking right at you and his feet are pointed to you. Dear Eve I'M SO PROUD OF YOU SISTER EGAN TOLD ME YOU WERE THE ONLY PERSON YOUR AGE IN OUR WARD THAT HAS DONE INDEXING WITHIN 2021! GOOD JOB! my friend lost his phone in the sewer Friday. Thanks for joining me today on my journey as Sister Barlow,   The days are long but the weeks are fast, anyone agree?    Being a Bismarck missionary comes with responsibility to take all the finished missionaries to the airport. It's so weird to think that someday my time will go to an end. Anyone ever been to the Bismarck airport before? If you haven't, it's about the size of a single church building. They have dinosaur bones in it and 4ish terminals. It is TINY! The only planes that fly in fit about 20-40 people. It's cute. It's Dakota.    So sad day :( Nickie's family does not want her to be baptized so we are putting that on hold. She loves the Book of Mormon videos though! I know all my life youve both said how much we have to get alongs as a companionship and I know the reasoning. but MAN  Im amazed at what some people dont get taught in their 20 years of life.  I feel like a mom reminding them to grab everything they need and to lock the door. it's like little thing. like loading the dishes and no phones in the bathroom deal. i am trying so hard to be patient and not say anything I regret. But this week and the next few weeks will be a big learning moment for me in my misson. Sup I'm really sick while writing this, so i'll make it short. I medaled at state for theatre. 69/75 score. I start chick-fa-La on tuesday, so that's cool too. I need to get to sleep I love you Hyrum   HIIIII  It's me ! Life is fun! I made my SBO video! My friends and I hung out a lot this week! On Friday we had a bond fire, then on Saturday we did night games. It was a party! Lauren got married ! Brendo the offendo is a nice guy. Mom is awesome and has been helping me out this week with filming and rides. She's awesome ! We get to show our videos on Monday, voting, and getting the results. Wish me luck!
