Hi eve!
I got my covid shot and I'm really sore. I went to the temple for the first time sense covid. The youth in our word had a service project on the temple grounds. It was super fun! I had my newsies cast party IT WAS A PARTy! I got the " Miss Sunshine award" . I'm really proud of it. ALso me and the YW did night games. It was a ;arty and a fun way to connect with the girls. wish me luck with this last week of school. Ill need it. Also I danced in the rain today & braided all of my hair in tiny birads. I Love YOU!!!!!!!!!! I would write more but it hurts to write so Ill leave it at that. LOVE YOU!!!!!!

I made it through my third official death week! I had both voice and piano lessons on Monday, i worked from 3-11 on Tuesday, I had my center stage tech rehearsal and final choir concert on wednesday, got my second vaccination on Thursday, I performed center stage on friday, and I had MORP on saturday with Grace Bird. They also zeroed out all our grades, so all the assignments we haven't done yet this year were put in as zeros, so my grades are terrible. I also have to talk to my counselor about taking summer classes, because I'm doing so many theatre and choir classes next year. I can't wait for school to be over. How has being a missionary been? I know your experience is even more unique than most, so I'm very curious.

We enjoyed seeing you on the screen during the Brad Wilcox fireside. We learned a lot in that fireside and took some good notes. It looks like you are having fun with your new companion (Sister Erdman?) I love getting your mission updates!

Hyrum noticed that it was the late Wendi Bawden's birthday so he brought cookies to Brother Bawden in remembrance of her. That was all his own idea to serve him.

One special experience: Last Sunday, during the Sacrament, when pondering who He wanted me to focus on serving this week, Jen Yonk's name came to mind. Throughout the week I was trying to pay attention to what the Spirit was prompting me to do for her. Finally, on Wednesday I felt like I should call her. When she answered the phone and I asked about her well-being she was silent and said, "Did you see facebook?" I told her I had not. She started to cry and said that her mom had unexpectedly passed away that morning. She had just barely posted the news on Facebook. I told her about my experience during the Sacrament that prompted me to check on her. I told her that Heavenly Father was looking out for her through other people and that He knew that her mom would be called home that week. We talked for a bit. She just wanted to share memories. We are bringing them dinner tomorrow. I'm so thankful for the Holy Ghost helping me be His hands this week.

It was fun to see you on the Zoom meeting today with Brad Wilcox. I learned a lot from that meeting. Thanks for sharing the link with us. Your new comp seems nice.
We went to see Maddie Cook tonight. We could not go to her farewell because I was speaking in a different Ward. She is doing well. The Cooks are living in a hotel for now. Maddie will do 2 weeks of her Home MTC in the hotel and then they are moving to a basement apartment in Holliday. We were able to send her off. She will do great.
Hyrum rocked his choir concert. They had some fun songs that Hyrum choreographed. He has a few solos too. He came home beaming. He thinks he found his people. His next year is set up to give him a lot of opportunity to perform. I hope he doesn't get burned out.
Love you kid! We are excited to hear about your new assignment and comp. Keep doing your best and the Lord will use you to work His miracles.
