Wassa!
This week is jam packed with positive possibilities and ridiculous responsibilities. I have MDT auditions this monday and tuesday, and then center stage auditions wednesday and thursday. I made Madrigals and acapella, so I have to shift my schedule which will be difficult. Also, one of my songs is really difficult to play, so Eaton might not be able to play it, which makes me worried. I also have an interview with Chick-Fa-La tomorrow.
I love you a lot!
Hyrum
HI
This week I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!! Also I'm one of the only Sbos that work :( I am deciding between doing soar next year or continuing to do SBO. pray for me please. We sang in a stake conference that was fun! I am the meme person on my group chat! long story short one day I put some memes on one of my group chats, and now we have a time each day called MARI MEME TIME! I got a haircut . Joey misses you.Im thinking of getting a new water bottle.( Maybe maybe not.)- any way - XOXOXOXOXOXO MARI aka your favorite
Millie,
It has been fun to watch your videos with your comps. You seem to be getting along well with them. If I remember right they are from Utah. That should create some opportunities to get back together.
Hyrum made Madirgals this last week. We have been concerned for him and hoped he might have a victory. He told Mom about the Madrigals but withheld that from me. He is auditioning for MDT tomorrow. He is currently committed to Acapella and Madrigals. If he makes MDT he will need to change his schedule a bit. He did not want to take all those arts classes. He will need to make some decisions on what he wants to do. He interviews for Chick-Fil-A tomorrow. He has a lot going on.
Mari had her B.O. Day (Braces Off). He takes every opportunity to smile. She is talking with Dr. Keith about teeth whitening. She too has some decisions to make. She is trying to decide if she wants to try for SBO or SOAR next year. She is not having as much fun as an SBO as she thought she would but she also has not had a normal year of being an SBO.
Your Mom got her last dose for her COVID immunization. It made her a little sick but she recovered quickly. She recovered just in time to help Emma and Matt move. The move was very organized. Emma made it very easy on everyone. We had some missionaries help us load the truck. We also had some of MAtt's family there to help. It went fast until we started with the IKEA furniture. It felt like we were there a long time waiting on Hyrum and Matt to finish putting together a dresser. I got home just in time to go to a Leadership Meeting for Stake Conference. We sang today for Stake Conference. If we were to sing for Stake Conference this was the time to do it. Only those who were participating in the meeting were invited to come. We had about 10 families there. We took dinner over to Emma and Matt's place. We took Joey to see if he would piddle and consecrate the home in his way. He didn't. We got home in time for the Sister missionaries to come over and offer a challenge for us to place a Book of Mormon in 4 weeks. We are to write our testimonies in the book and give it away. We are up to the challenge.
Things are going well here. Life just keeps on happening. We are very proud of you and your efforts. Even if you drive outside of your mission boundaries and ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Keep up the good work. We are very pleased with the example you are setting.
Love
Dad

Sweet Eve,
I LOVE watching the videos and pics of your mission adventures. I LOVE seeing your personality shine through. It seems like you and Sister Baird are like-minded people, laughing at all the same stuff. Sister Powell seems like a sweet cherry on top of a great trio. Bravo to all 3 of you!
As Dad mentioned, we had the Sisters over for a visit. (I also got to drive them around a bit). I'm excited about the challenge they gave us! As they challenged us to write our testimonies in The Book of Mormon and then pray to know who to give it to, the Spirit confirmed that we are supposed to do this. I know as we exercise faith, work and pray to know who/how/when, we will be blessed with knowledge and success. They also had a great time playing with Joey. They both have dogs that they miss. They think he has a cute face!
Speaking of Joey, he's gained some weight! He's a fluffy big boy now. We've had to limit his dog food to 1x a day (at dinnertime). He cleans his bowl and still seems to want more- but NO! Hungry teenage boy? Sometimes he puts himself to bed in his kennel.
In addition to all the things Hyrum has going on this week, he also has Prom. He's going in a group with Alexander Henage and Olivia Neilson. They are still trying to decide what to do. Alexander said they should go eat a big plate of spicy nachos. I encouraged them to keep thinking. We are hoping for the best with Anna Wenerstrom. Her family has been sick with COVID. Her quarantine ends the day before prom. If she shows no symptoms, she's good to go. If not....
Schery brought over your cello chair. Thanks for letting me use it until you have a place to keep it. It will be so fun to use behind my desk. It almost feels like it belongs in Disneyland. I'm taking it to school tomorrow. I'll send a picture.
I've been working, here and there, on family history. I LOVE how previously unknown records appear all the time. I've been able to find so many children that have not been attached to their parents, most from the 1950 census! I hope you and the other kids will be able to help with family history throughout your life. So far it looks like I'm the only one working on it on my side of the family. My mom dabbles a bit (which is good too) but I'm so worried that there's more that needs doing...more than I can do by myself. In our garage, right now, I have a box of records/pictures etc. from Great Great Grandma Sarah, Great Grandma Violet, and now Grandma Shea. This box was sitting in Grandma Shea's garage... I hope I don't drop the ball.
Happy St. Patrick's Day on Wednesday.🍀 I bought you a green box of Lucky Charms...and then forgot to send it to you. Sorry!
It was fun helping Emma move. It was great to be with family. Emma was a bit CRAZY. She was super-organized. She had all her boxes color coded and colored paper that corresponded to boxes taped to the doors of the rooms so we all knew where to put stuff. She also drew a map of her kitchen cupboard so we knew where to put stuff away. I have never seen the likes of that before! Because her move went so quickly, she and Matt spent the rest of the day hanging pictures and curtains. Then, they went to get paint samples and are trying them out on the walls. Oh yes, they also built a dresser from IKEA. Today, when we brought them dinner, they both looked BEAT! It's super stressful to move but she handled it like a trooper!
Out of the blue, Grandma Kimball texted me to tell me how much she enjoys reading your letters. She said, "Our Eve is not the same girl who left UTAH a few months ago. She has grown so much and is a powerful force". She said that reading your letters is a highlight of her week.
We all love you! Keep up the work and fun...and eat an Otter Pop for me! (a pink one!)
💜 Mom
