3/15/21 We are not in the NDBM anymore

Good morning! I love it here in Aberdeen. It's the promised land!

We had our zone conference on Tuesday and made our way back to Aberdeen from Pierre. I think I sent my notes from zc last email, but anyways. Now begins our new project! The NDBM is making a bunch of "Welcome videos" for each ward. Our plan is to post it with the hopes that it will help our ward look more welcoming and that it will help answer a few questions about the congregations. My trio is part of the filming process so we get to travel to the east side of the mission! Road trips are now my life...

Saturday morning we drove back to Pierre and filmed some members there. We had to make it a day trip so driving each way is 3hr, so 6hr in total. A little blessing I've noticed is that we don't get tired till we get home from our trips. It is a blessing. We are safe on the roads I promise! Now to explain the subject line.. We were driving down to Pierre and we just typed in the address and went, not thinking anything more about it. But we drove through this town called Redfield and I made the comment that we have never heard of the city before. Sister Baird then whips our her phone and looks on area book and sees that we are OUTSIDE OUR MISSION BOUNDARIES! Even worse, we were 40 minutes outside. Hi Omaha Nebraska Mission! We had to text President Howell and share our grave mistake and he just LAUGHED! We all thought we were going to get a call from Salt Lake and get stern talking too for leaving the mission boundaries. I guess 5 states isn't big enough for us. Oops.

This next week is our super busy week. Our next trip is to head to Fargo -->Grand Forks --> Detroit Lakes to film members. It'll take Wednesday to Friday, but IT IS FOR THE LORD so we do it gladly! Please pray that we will be safe this next week!

We have been so busy with making travel plans and organizing and editing videos that our teaching pool is so small. We still are only teaching Jana  and Nicole right now. We had lessons set up this week but they both didn't show. We all think that it was just a rough week because we had a big snow storm and people don't go outside when it's deep.

I love hearing peoples favorite conference talks/BYU Devotionals/scriptures! Please send them my way! General Conference is 19 days away!!!

Love you all!

xoxo Sister Barlow
