How are you? Are you feeling settled in Bismarck? I'm so glad you were able to clean up that apartment. I hope it feels more homey now. From the pics, it looked really good! I can't wait to hear about your music speaking assignment to the Central States area!
Grandma and Grandpa Barlow had all of us over for dinner tonight (our household plus Matt/Emma). It was SO good to be with them again! No masks, just lots of hugs. They told us how proud they are of you. They say you are going with the flow and doing great things. They gave us the postcard you sent them (from Aberdeen) so we could put it in your scrapbook. Grandma Mildred told us about a dream she had about Grandpa Lincoln. She said he was standing so tall and that he looked GOOD! (Imagine her saying that about a handsome, hot guy she has a crush on!)
Hyrum has been given his assigned committee as 2nd Counselor in Priests Quorum. He will be on the Family History Committee. I'm so excited for him! I'm also excited that we will get more family history help on my side of the family. I don't think anyone in my family is working on it. I think there is so much we can still do.
I think we told you about sending a Book of Mormon to Betty, our VRBO hostess in South Carolina. Well, she messaged me saying that she appreciated the sweet family picture and the Book of Mormon. She said that she loves God. She said that she's read the Book of Mormon before and she looks forward to reading it again. She said she's glad our paths crossed! (YES!)
Mari's "Newsies" shows are this week. We'll send pics. She also had her SBO interview last week. She finds out if she made the next round this week. I'm sure she'll make it to the next round...so on to posters and videos. Fun stuff.
Well, all is well here. Please know that you are loved more than you know. We pray for you multiple times a day. You also have a care package (with the insurance card) on the way. It should arrive in a few weeks at the latest.

I have been very eager to hear how your presentation went. I'm confident it went well but I want to hear what you learned and how you feel it went. We had a slow week around here and are heading into a busy week. This week Mari has her Newsies play. I will be glad when it is done. It has dominated our calendar for a while. We have a limited number of tickets available. We have to sit in families. It has been a challenge to determine who gets to come. George and Charlene will be there and we are hoping it will be uneventful.
Grandma and Grandpa had us over for dinner tonight. They are vaccinated and are comfortable being around people again. They were able to get Matt up to date with some stories about the uncles. They attempted to share some stories about me but got them mostly wrong. It felt good to have some normalcy again. We have a lot of people now refusing to wear masks but most places still require them. Working from home I don't get a chance to wear a mask much and when I do I feel like it is the first time.
Keep doing what you know needs to be done. Opportunities will become available if you keep preparing and doing your best.

lifes lookin up sista!
Chick-Fa-La hired me, but the process is kinda wonky, so it's a bit of stressful process. My school load is getting lighter, so that's cool too. I'm in a center stage play called S.P.A.R. and it's an acid trip. I play two characters, and one of the only things I do is, "Walks onstage and screams". That's it.
My voice hurts.
My schedule for next year is half arts classes. two choirs and two theatre classes, so that might be a problem. It'll be fun, but it might make graduating harder.

We had dinner with grandma and grandpa and grandma millered at night. I went to my friend's birthday party. Emma mom and I went to the farmers market! I bought a venus fly trap and I need help naming it. I was thinking of naming it king . I'm not sure what his king name will be but I'm open for ideas. I got invited to stay a week with my friend on her house boat. I'm not sure if I'm going, but will see. I had my Sbo interview a little bit back. A lot of my friends are running this year, so I will see if I make it. WELCOME TO PROFORMANCE WEEK! I'm so hyped! I can' wait! I have it Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday! I hope you are having fun in your new Area! Sending sun shine your way! :)
