Very frustrating but fun! Everyone gave up except me. so I spent the last 10 min trying to figure out the code.
We ended up losing but it was ok.
I MADE IT INTO THE FAIRY TAIL CLUB YOUTUBE THING!!!! I'M REALLY EXCITED!
A starter package should be coming this week.

Hello There
Well, the last week was spent in rehearsal and just trying to get through school. I'm so ready for Fall break!
I don't know if I told you, but there's this girl I'm going after now. I thought she was into me, but then I found out that she's just a very friendly person. And not really into me. I'm still going to take her on a date in a month, because november 13th is the first free weekend I'll have to go on a date.
Life's good.
For the MDT review, I was assigned Tevya in Tradition (Fiddler on the Roof). i'm hyped
Anyway, that's about it for me.
Love you! Doot

Sweet Eve,
I've changed my prayers for you. Instead of praying that you will be able to find people to teach, I'm praying for you to be led to those who are ready to let God prevail in their lives. Also, that those who are seeking the truth will find you. It feels right to rephrase my prayers for you. I hope it makes a difference.
I'm feeling so happy about missionary work right now. Today Dad went to his first missionary meetings for high council. After hearing about what goes on there (including mission prep) he invited me to join him in these meetings! It feels so right to be learning about these things. I will join him! We also get to have the Sisters over to our house for a weekly (I think) coordination meeting. How wonderful to get to be more "up close" to missionary work! I hope I can learn how to be a good missionary.
Family history has been interesting. Today I found about 12 names of ancestors who need baptisms. Most of them seemed to "pop out" of the computer. These ancestors lived most of their lives and died in the Los Angeles area. This is interesting because this week (on Thursday) we are flying out to Los Angeles (Newport Beach) for Fall Break. The only thing we have planned for that little vacation is for all of us to do baptisms at the Newport Beach temple on Friday. We will miss you, but it's going to be very similar to the other California beach vacations we've already done....and will do again when you are home.
Today I played piano in Primary as a substitute for Melissa because today was Luke's homecoming. I think I'm getting better at piano because I only made a few mistakes. I think the playing I've had to do at Carden has helped a lot. I'm still not where I'd like to be but I'm making progress. This week at Carden I'm going to try to start teaching the Christmas songs. Wish me luck! Orchestra is also making progress...slow but steady.
Here's a Halloween song from my students (sung to Deck the Halls): Deck the halls with poison ivy...fa la la......
Tis the season to be slimy....fa la la....Don we now our strange apparel....fa la la.......troll the ancient Halloween carol....fa la la....
Anyway, I love you so much. I'm so proud of you and the good you are doing. I'm proud of you for loving people who might annoy you. I'm proud of you for serving those who are unkind. You are becoming even more Christlike all the time. Have you checked in with Heavenly Father to be reminded of how he feels about you? If not, I challenge you to do so regularly. He wants you to feel His love for you.
MomMillie,
It was great to chat with you on our Birthday. It was an extra bonus. Tiffany took me to a Preseason Jazz game. It was really fun and loud. They do not let the fans have a moment to think during those games. We went to Top Golf and out to lunch. It was a relaxing day. I hope your day was great too.
I had my first Missionary Correlation meeting this morning and more was expected of me than I thought. I was told I needed to gather info on all the people being taught by the Full time and Ward missionaries. I have a second meeting I was told I was to let the Full Time Missionaries shine. I was not sure what that meant. I held the first meeting and wrote down all the names of the people being taught. We then dismissed the Ward Mission leaders and brought in the Stake Presidency. The Stake Presidency then turned to me to lead the missionaries in determining who we should be talking about. I was not prepared. It was a rough meeting. I now have an appointment to chat with a member of the Stake Presidency to review what I'm supposed to do. I already have some ideas of what to do with Mission Prep. I'm thinking of bringing in RMs to chat with those attending. I hope to review the good times and the struggles. I'm also thinking about bringing in older RMs for a Show and Tell similar to what we did with Missionary Month with flags and food. I have some big plans but I don't want to add too much all at once.
We are getting ready for our trip to California. The beach we were planning to go to had a major oil spill. We are not sure what that means for the beach time. It is supposed to be cold and windy for Cali. We have no idea what we are going to do yet. We are trying to get everyone feeling better before we go. We were thinking of letting Hyrum and Mari get surfing lessons but not if the water is full of oil. It will likely be too cold anyway.
We have been praying all week for your teaching pool. We are hoping you have found families in your area that you can teach. Mom and Dad were reminiscing about their trip to Mt. Rushmore. They were very impressed with you. Love you kid. I hope things are going well. If they aren't just do your part. Control what you can and miracles will happen.
Love,
Dad
