8/2/22 - scott sterling
well well well. please enjoy the shortest email I will ever write.
Last Monday we had a district pday at the church. Nothing crazy. We played volleyball and few other games. During the volleyball game the volleyball was drop kicked straight into my eyeball. hahahhaha. well im a bit concussed now. Please send prayers hahah I was told it looked comparable to scott sterling so we've got that going for me. Sister Erdmann and I have had to sit in our apartment and do NOTHING for days.Do you know how hard it is to do NOTHING as a social media missionary?!?? you'd think we could message people on our phones but we have a rule that we must always see our companions screen so if I can't look at it, She can't look at it. So basically we are the most useless missionaries. We are losing our minds. I have strict instructions to think about nothing until I heal. So excuse me while I do that.
We had our Mission Leadership meeting and we were able to go to the temple for an endowment session It was my first one since I've been through for myself. I love the bismarck Temple. We are so blessed as children of God.
Last Monday our walmart had a sale on legos and it ended up being a blessing cuz Sister Erdmann and I are stuck inside our bat cave until I heal so it gave us something to do.
We learned that on the 14th, Garry E Stevenson is coming to our mission and the whole ndbm is driving to Bismarck for the conference. Rip everyone mile allotment, BUT WE ARE SO EXCITED
We had transfer calls and Im staying in Bismarck for a 4th transfer! no one from my whole zone is leaving to an area so not much change here in bizzy city.
have you ever thought about Gods unique plan for each of his children? Each one is complex and unique.. We are so lucky to have a father in heaven who loves us enough to give us this chance to learn. Ive had a lot of time *not to think* but about Gods plan is always better for us. Things come unexpectedly *like a volleyball to the face* and then we are given a opportunity to learn and improve from it. We are always learning. What a cool gift
I was listening to Mosiah 18 this week: How cool the faith of those people! 204 baptisms!! that's amazing! Those who have the necessary faith are looking for those blessings!
I wish I had more miracles to share but we must go think of nothing right now.
Love yall! Pray for missionary opportunities!
