12/20/21 God is SO Good

 Okay what a fabulous week!

I have witnessed so many miracles I can't even contain the joy!

#1 Caitlyn
Remember Caitlyn from Bismarck? If you don't.. Sister Erdmann and I were on our way to district council and we saw this girl who was super sad and the spirit had us turn around and talk to her. She was really struggling and she asked God to send her Angels and then we came and walked her home. But anyways, She got baptized this week! I've been able to talk to her right before she was baptized and she was so happy and excited and was so grateful she was able to learn about the True Gospel of Jesus Christ!

#2 Natacha
She was passed off a week or so ago to us from other sisters. But we had the idea that for our next lesson we would teach repentance and read Mosiah 27 and Alma 36. Well as we read Natacha got all emotional and she opened up about her life. She really connected with Alma the Younger. She then shared that from this experience she knew that this book was true and wanted to continue taking lessons. It was a really cool experience!

#3 Music
We posted a music video on all our Facebook pages of a cello duet I was apart of, and a man reached out and called the elders and asked if the missionaries who were in the video were local. Long story short, he wants to hire us cellists to help him with a religious music recording session! Obviously we won't let him pay us but we are excited!

#4 I wrote a song!
I wrote a song with Sister Maurer and we are recording it this week! She did all the fancy stuff and I just wrote the cello part, but we are excited! It should be posted around New Years! I've decided that I don't want to sit in another music video so I made a "Cello Sling '' to wear for the video. The picture down below was a prototype made out of the bottom of a skirt I cut and an Tie. I bought fabric today to make it look good so don't worry hahha!

The whole week was great!
I found out that I am blessed with a great gift to be bad at art. I decided to use my lunch hour yesterday to draw a picture of the NDBM Social Media Team. Well what can I say.. I am blessed to be bad at art. No matter what you think, I did try ahhaha. It just looks so bad and that's the best part! example below!

I got to see my favorite member's family this week! The Friedli family is in the Canyon Lake Ward I served in a few transfers ago but they were gracious and took my cello home for me! They drove that big heap of wood to Utah and are such a blessing to me! The miracle is that I am able to now use a mission owned cello to continue in my music calling!

This week I've been reading in Mosiah about Abinadi and MAN I just love this guy. I love in the Book of Mormon when they just throw hands and lay down God's law and it is just so entertaining. I love his dedication to the Lord!
Go read Candle of the Lord by President Packer! I just love love love that talk!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas! Light the World has been such a special time for me! It really is a time where peoples hearts are softened and willing to listen and learn about Jesus Christ! Go and share that light!
